The D.E.Y. is a Latin Hip hop group that debuted in 2007, following in the footsteps of The Fugees and Black Eyed Peas. The group is composed of members Divine, Élan, and Yeyo. The trio's name is also meant to symbolize a new day in music. The D.E.Y. features a combination of urban R&B, Latin, hip-hop, and pop. They desire to cross cultural and lingual boundaries with Afro-Latino influenced, fusion-heavy sounds that celebrate Latin all of their heritage of Afro-Latino.
