Chris Standring is a British-born jazz guitarist known for his heavy use of 1970s-style musical nuances. Before launching his own solo career with his 1998 album "Velvet", Standring represented a third of the band SolarSystem, a one-shot project that combined elements of jazz and hip-hop. His new record "Love and Paragraphs" has beautiful melodies and great rythym. |

Ottmar Liebert is a German-born composer and guitarist, born to a Chinese-German father and a Hungarian mother. As a child, he spent most of his time traveling Europe and Asia with his family. Ottmar leads an ensemble called Luna Negra ("Black Moon"), which has gained popularity performing as a touring band and recording music albums in a "Nouveau Flamenco" style. Luna Negra mixes elements of flamenco with jazz, bossa nova, Hindu meditation music, and other genres. |

The Rentals are a rock band fronted by Matt Sharp, former bass player for Weezer. The band is widely known for their mid-1990s hit single, "Friends of P". The group has released two albums, Return of the Rentals and Seven More Minutes on Maverick Records. The band quietly dissolved following the world tour for their second album, but in 2005 Sharp reformed the band with intentions of touring and recording a new record. In 2007, The Rentals released The Last Little Life EP. |
